Is it that big of deal to drive with it on? Or do you guys launch at 4k slipping the clutch off of every stop light? Unless your driving it HARD It dosent even make a real difference. Just my 2 cents.

SCT Xcal cant do this, you will have to have your tuner do it in the tune, but as mentioned, you will not be able to turn it back on yourself.

But I REALLY want to spend the $400!

You don't expect me to actually reach over and push a button, do you![]

Good point...just leave it on..if you need it off push the botton...its a great safety factor to have if you get caught in bad weather..

I wish it was the same as the sn95s where it maintains its setting when the car is turned off. (I.E. - If its on when you shut down your car, its on when you start it back up, if its off when you shut down your car its off when you start back up, and it stays that way until you hit the button again.)

It still would be nice to have it default to off instead of on though. We have alot of slick roads here and sometimes when you accelerate TCS will kick in. This is really dangerous if youre pulling out onto a road and TCS kicks in and you cant get up to speed. I always turn TCS off whenever I get into the car... only time I turn it back on is when its raining. Gets kind of annoying to have to hit the button everytime you start the car, especially on days where you do alot of driving.

but in order to turn it back on you need your tuner right? I want it to work with the button, but the opposite as it is now... default is off. I know it is just a simple button press, but it be nice to not have to do it... OP agree?
I could not agree more! Here's the deal:

I love driving with the TCS off. I can slip every turn and perfectly gauge my slide and sway.

But the couple of times I've turned it on, and I gun it to much on a turn, the car jerks some.

Anyway, I only put it on if it's raining or something so I can maintain grip.

Well anyone, that's my O.

If your wheels don't lose traction, does the TCS slow you down by changing timing or anything? For instance, WOT from 60mph?

it sucks when you start your car up at the track and forget the TCS is on then you go and your car is slowing you down
