Diff between Borla GTA and Touring
Anyone konw whatthe difference is between the FRPP/Borla GTA and the Borla Touring axlebacks?

The Touring are $600 and the GTAs are $275.

Just put them on to replace dorning flows. 98% of the drone gone. They sound a little louader then stock @ idel but they screem when you jump on it. Theyalso get louader as they break in.

The Borla touring are not much louder than stock.
Also remember that the Borla Mufflers carry a Million Mile Lifetime warranty the FRRP do not. The GTA are not Borla by the way either. And the ones pictured on that site look identical to the stockers if you ask me.

Thanks Richard! Best feedback I have gotten so far. Any other comments or advice? The Corsas just jumped in price so I am not getting them but looking for similar characteristics (not too loud, little drone, nice at WOT). Fred at Evolution recommended the Tourings...

I know that any Borla Muffler you get is going to sound great. I have been running nothing but Borla since about 1988 and will not run any other muffler/exhaust on any of my V-8 powered vehicles. The Oval ones are going to give you a slight increase over stock while the Stingers will give a drastic improvement but like i said they do have some drone. However to me it is not a issue and minor enough to not even worry about. Some people however cannot stand the drone. Exhaust is a very personal choice what one person loves the next may hate.
I think you will like the Stingers if your willing to deal with some slight drone. I drive around it it myself and when it does happen it really is not big deal.

Definitely NOT what I am looking for - think "subtle" but muscular.
Going to go with the Borla Tourings from Evolution I think. They look great.

Stingers are going to get more looks for sure....just a little tap on the throttle and you can scare an old lady to death pretty easily!
