Default Nitrous Tune???

I want to know if there should be a custom tune installed on a nitrous fed 05 gt 5-speed. I am looking into getting the Zex 2005-2007 Mustang GT Nitrous kit with traction control window switch and the Zex Racers Tuning Kit. All the car will have is cai and tuner and I just want a 75hp shot. Would it be ok to spray will using a 93 octane tune?Or should there be a nitrous tune? Also, I thinkthat should be everything I need for a safe setup but let me know if there's somethingi'm missing.
Thanks!

you will have to get a dyno tune if u want to run it safely from what i know, it also depends on the shot that you plan on usuing, but even if u only use a 50 shot a dyno tune is a great option. and get a window switch!

Competly agree, you will not get the most out of the tune without putting the car on the DYNO and knowing you fuel/air is critical at ALL times. You need to look at the timing numbers and fuel duty cycles on the DYNO if you want to make sure that you don't go BOOM!

A 75 shot really doesnt need a tune. But it wont hurt, though.
Also, the dyno tune is a good idea if you juice or not.

Check the Zex kit instructions. The kit is made to run on a stock car with a stock tune upto 75 shot. However, since you are runnning a tune and mods then you really need to get a custom tune for the nitrous. The custom tune you are running currently may not work well with Nitrous.

I also had a question about that.

When running a nitrous tune, would you be able to drive the car normally without spraying?

Yes I run my nirtous tune all the time. You loose a little NA power but not enough to worry about.

After i ordered my zex kit from brenspeed i asked about a dyno tune and they said it would be nice to have but not necessary with there nitrous tune installed even said they could wright me a tune for a 150 shot but i think i am going to stick with a 100 shot and the brenspeed tune

150 shot? I have been told by most that when you get above a 125 you start to have problems with fuel. Hey maybe thier wrong.

I guess the tune he has done for you isnt going to be a problem with the Nitrous, he should know. However, when you get the paperwork with your kit read it. You'll find some interesting things in there.

yea sorry i forgot they did say you would need new injectors and fuel pump for a 150 shot or at least boost-a-pump.and how do you like the arming switch in the center consul? i was thinking about using that just for convenience, but i kinda like the old school look of the red toggle switch.
