RE: keyed?!
A guy I work with, his car gets keyed all the time. I thought he just had bad luck, but after riding to lunch with him the other day now I know why people are fukking up his ride. He drives like a total ***, cutting people off, not letting anyone merge or change lanes. A kid in the apartments I used to live in (god, I don't miss apartment life) would play his music loud all the time. He would turn his freakin stereo up and walk a mile away to see how loud it would be for other people riding by, I guess. One day I just lost it and told him that basically he was a punk and I was tired of hearing his ****. The next morning there was a long key mark in the door of my truck. At least I never had to hear his music again.

RE: keyed?!
hmm its werid. Its like its not real good "keyed" but yet i cant see how that could happen on accident. Its so small that it just makes me think you werent "keyed" in the sense you know what i mean. The person who keyed you clearly sucked at keying and your keyed pretty lucky its small.
WTF i need to cut down on the word keyed

Wow, that does look pretty deep. All you can really do is polish off the top layers of clear around the scratch to make it look less noticable. It will be there until the panel is repainted. Some touchup paint and heavy buffing may be your best bet.

That sucks man. I seem to remember a touch up kit that is used for deeper scratches to prepare it prior to paint.

Never tried it but you might want to look into it.

That may not be a key job. I got a scratch like that from someone carrying a brief case and scrubbed my car when I was on the parking lot at work. Fortunately it wasn't a my Mustang. People are not very careful when they walk in between vehicles in a parking lot.
