Default New 08 and floor mat ??

Hi,

I just picked up my 08 GT, this ismy first modern muscle car, I've got plenty of experience with oldermuscle cars(carbs) but none with tuners.Aside from posts on thisforumis there anyplaceI can get a good education on tunning and modifying thesecars? As of right now I'm just enjoying the new car but I'm sure down the road I'll want to make some upgrades.

Also are these cars supposed to come with rear floor mats??? I just noticed there aren't any in mine, just wondering if the dealer forgot them?

Thanks,

No rear floor mats.

As far as education on tuning/modifying find a reputable shop in your area that has dealt with the cars... I think the majority of your education can be found here though from user's experiences with the variety of products. The mustang has the largest aftermarket, and we all know why. The car is meant to fill the needs of its owner, and Ford just supplies the canvas.

I'm sorry, I just moved to Florida. Unfortunately I found no reputable shops. I heard JDM was good (I think they are located in Frehold or somewhere in that area, near Englishtown Raceway.) I took the trip to Evolution (Sponser here) and regret every minute of it. Everything Fred had talked me into getting has been removed from the car, and was a complete waste of money.

Thurman,

I know Bruce's pretty well, I bought a lot of parts for my "other" car there and they aren't too far from me. Have you had your car on their dyno? and have they done any tunning for you?

Thanks,

Generaly the post here are a great start when looking for information about anything ... you'll get the pro's and cons based on the experience from others. I would do a search on the parts that you are looking into and see what's said. My stang also came with floor mats
