Candy Apple VS Redfire Comp Pic
 

Took this about an hour ago. The Candy Apple does have some metallic to it but without seeing a clean one it's hard to compare how deep it goes and this one had a layer of dirt on it. I think the most true spot of the color on this pic is down at bumper level. The F150 in the background was a fluke but the color on it is a lot like Torch Red...the truck's color is non-metallic like Torch.

Thanks for posting that! I've been curious (especially since mine is a Redfire) what the Candy Apple Reds looked liked. Yes, I am biased, but I will say that I still like the Redfire better. Hooray for me! LOL:D

it looks like the torch red and redfire are the two ends and candy apple red is the median

The Candy Apple is a fad color of the '80s. (think Corvette Summer) The Redfire has more blue in it. I like the Redfire better myself.

Not the best pic, but yeah redfire does look nicer.:D Now if they just made a regular candy apple red, then I dont know.

Chrome or polished and nothing but.
Stay away from black, it is done to death and looks like ass anyways. I wouldalso stay away from gray/grey, to me it just woudln't looks at good as chromed or polished.
This is my opinion of course so no need for anyone to get all mental and want to pull out their "Fighting Gear" and have a go at me. :D[8D]

I do like the Candy apple red but Im still happier with my Redfire. Get compliments all the time. BTW, on rims I did a combo of high polished with grey centers. I thought it set it off quite nicely. Watcha think ?

I think I'm the only one here that likes candy apple red better than redfire. Looking at the pic, the candy apple red has much more of a shine than the dull redfire.

..yeh i'm gonna have to go with candy apple...IMO the redfire doesnt pop enough, it seems too dark for me. I'm more partial to the cops pull me over bright red :Dhaha.

Since when do mustangs have space in the front for a license plate?

Mine doesn't have one, and we don't have front plates in PA :D

I saw both colors at my local Ford Dealer.....both cars were clean and I must say I like Red Fire or Torch Red better. The Dark Candy Apple Red made me think of the dark Burgundy colors that were so popular on cars in the late '90s.

I wished Ford would offer Mustang in a Midnight Blue Metallic.....now THAT would be hot!

i like candy and torch way better than redfire.

redfire looks like it belongs on a Lexus or Mercedes, not a Mustang.

When they are clean, the Candy Apple red looks a lot nicer to me, but its hard as hell to keep it clean it shows dirt very easily.

I think all of the Mustangs have two small indentions in the front bumper as an option for adding a license plate, even if your state doesn't require it. Mine has the two indentions, but they are barely noticeable and it was a couple of months before I was close enough to the front bumper to go, "Holy sh!t, what's that?" :D

Redfire was not my first choice, but when I saw it in person it was just what I wanted. The redfire looks best in the sun light, you can see all of the metal flake in the paint.
