Have confidence in yourself. Take your time read the instructions and do the install yourself, it really isn't all that difficult, get a buddy that has experience to help you.

Someone was pointing at mine the other day from the lane beside me.
He promptly hit the rear end of the stopped vehicle in front of him.
LOL.

To the original poster, like everyone else has already said, go with the Meter 4 It kit. They're really not that difficult to install at all.

You can solder everything if you want, or like me, I just used the connectors included in the kit, and so far so good. The kit is well designed, the instructions are extremely detailed and in color, and even if you're not a wiring-dude in any way, it's not that hard to do.

My wiring skills are near 0, and it took me and a helper about 2 hours to install, and that was going really slowly, taking our time, checking out/discussing things we noticed about the stang in the meantime, and having a beer break in there somewhere.

Just go for it. It looks kind of intimidating if you're just reading the instructions online, but once you get going it's really not that hard to do, and you'll quickly follow along with what the instructions are getting at, and it'll go nice and fast.

Plus, the chase sequence looks completely awesome, and gets loads of attention whenever you're out in traffic. Go order them!

I'd like to get them and have that guy install them $145 plus $40 install plus gas for trip from Detroit to Dallas (1200 miles). Too much?
That is way to far to drive !!! Hey Wingman, me and hubby installed them on mine a month or so ago, it kinda sucked. I thought the instructions could have been written better. Anyways... Your not too far from us. We live in Brownstown, near Flat Rock. Maybe I could ask him to help you out if you bring it over. Just an idea. Let me know if your interested. btw he's a licensed electrician.

Theresa thanks for the generous offer but I was just kidding. I will probably get the CDC kit. The chasers are cool but I like the sequentials just as well.

I've had both, regular sequentials on a 2000 GT and the "chase" kit on my '06 GT. Chase wins hands down.
