Default Dead Battery :(

Well I tried starting my car today and.... no worky

I'm going to try jumping it tomorrow and see if it runs after charging...

BUT if it doesn't stay charged, I'm going to have to take it to the dealership. I was just wondering If I am going to have to get rid of my intake and tune before bringing it in? or would that just be dealer specific. I'm going to be calling them tomorrow, but was wondering if anyone knew here first. If they're going to give me crap about my intake and tune, I'll probably just end up buying a new battery, instead of taking the time to take off the intake and everything.

How safe is it for me to run the car with the CAI and no tune for a short period of time?

I want my car to be working

Don't buy a new battery...if anything else, check out the price of a battery charger or a tender. I had a dead battery, did not want to take to dealer....just did not want to have to drop off the car, get a ride home, etc. etc. Then I bought a battery charger...I figured with three vehicles at home it may come handy. Anyway, I charged the battery to 100% and have not had any issues in over a year. Despite having to leave the Stang unattended for up to 21 days at a shot, on at least three times.

Hmmm... did not think about that. Maybe I'll look into it. I guess I was just assuming the battery was dead, but since I've read here that others have been ok with charging the batteries, hopefully it'll be ok after I get a jump.

Thanks!
