Default hiccup

My car has on occassion, almost stopped running for a second. Its never stalled but its like it hiccups and keeps running. It happens about once a month. Does this happen to anybody else, or know what this is?

+1 see if you can narrow it down to acting up after a cruise where you've maintained a pretty steady speed

mine did it on occasion after driving easy for a while and then flooring it. It no longer does it now that I have the high stall converter, but my wifes car still does.
