0-60 times
What is your best 0-60 times? My 06 GT is auto and completely stock. I measured it last night and the best I could run was 5.71. I used a Gtech Pro (the older little black box type). I think I could get better if I removed the spare, subs, amps, other misc stuff in the car, and lost some weight myself (currently pushing 250 lb). I’m just wondering what others were timing the 0-60 in since I’ve read they were suppose to do it in 5.5 sec.. I don’t take the crap out of my car because I like to know what it will do in the real world when everything is in it. Also I’m launching between 1700 and 2000 rpm. Temp was in the high 80s and so was the humidity. [align=left] [/align]

I got a 5.1 0-60, but I have an 06, so I have 3.55 gears + stick shift so I have an advantage over you. I'm also 100% stock. I've been trying to break into the 4's 100% stock, but just can't do it. If I lower the rear tire pressure and raise the tire pressure in the fronts, I can get 5.0x....

To the OP, FYI - Car and Driver had the 05 GT tested at 5.1 (0-60) - it was a 5-speed though...

What can I say, I'm an old guy. 
I'm one of those guys that drives the speed limit and keeps his Mustang garaged and under a car cover 25+ days out of the month, taking it out for Sunday cruises in the summer and for showing at local car shows.
