Welcome to the forum! It is a great shifter butI know you will get many on here that chime in and may say otherwise. I would check out the MGW shifter....I just bought it and the reviews on it are great. http://www.mgwltd.com/mustang2005_shifter.shtml

Welcome.... Basically the Hurst gives you the notchy feel as the others are smooth. In a general comparison.

Mine is being deliverd tomorrow so it had better be a great shifter. I played with one in a Shelby GT on the showroom floor and it was ok. Probably gonna take some getting used to. I just wanted the look to be honest. Very notchy.....and short.

After a few months of usage I can honestly say that it truly is a shifter, and truly does change the gearing, depending on user input.

I've had mine in for a week, and I love it. Check out my other thread on my bad Hurst instructions. https://mustangforums.com/m_3922684/...tm.htm#3922684

I had some older instructions with mine, and one part was incorrect and gave me trouble until I fixed it. It is an awesome shifter, and looks great!

Welcome aboard!
