Hurst is the best short shifter if you're on a budget. MGW is the best period. I have the Hurst and I love it.

They are easy to install, as long as you can get under the car and work comfortably around the transmission.

I agree with acascianeli. My decision was made because I remember an old Cuda my Dad had with the hurst and the white ball. Just good memories when I get into the stang now.

I sat in a Shelby GT at the Detroit autoshow, ever since then I fell in love with the Hurst.

I had the Hurst on my first C300. It was like shifting in a box of gravel. I love the Steeda Tri-ax. It's very positive, smooth, and I have never missed a shift in it.

I am getting ready to install my Hurst today, I will let you know how it is after a test drive. I bought mine from www.RPMOUTLET.COMfor 168.00 and free shipping. I got an extra 10% discount due to being in the Army.

I'm putting mine in either tonight or Sunday. I'll chime in as well.

Install thread for MGW but it'll help you out if you decide to go with the Hurst.

Dude, just got finished test drivin the Hurst! I have driven a stang with a tri-ax (very nice) but for the money the Hurst performed like a champ! Easy install, about 20 min to wiggle into place but after that a breeze..
