It's not my daily driver, thankfully... I am getting ready to store my 2007 GT/CS for the Chicago winter.

I have a good cover, it's clean. I know the basics of storing a car, but is there anything else I should keep in mind???

Any tips?

 

Battery tender

 

Pick up some Sta-Bil fuel stabilizer to put in when you fill the tank. Gasoline goes bad fast and will gum things up.

 

Drive it every chance you get.

 

I let the snow put a nice natural cover on it...

 

Place dry carpet or wood under the tires. Even better if you can put floor jacks under her and keepthe rubberoff the concrete. But I'd only do the later IF I knew I wasn't going to drive her over a 3-4 month period.

Sta-bil only if you're not going to run the engine over that period. Fresh oil before storage.
