does anyone know where I could get a prescription visor for the helmet I use at the track?

ya I've done that but it only seems to come up with normal or tinted visors
the reason I'm interested it its hard to get my glasses on under the helmet and since I've run under 14s I have to wear a helmet to go down the 1/4

Ford Dude have you tried any of those companies that do prescription safety glasses and lenses. I think there's a couple on center street off 225. I would think they would have the ability.

The visor on a helmet is pretty far away. I don't know that a prescription one would work so well.

2 Other options:
- Contacts - I try to wear my contacts when racing anyway, because they don't have any fields of blur. Whereever I look, I see perfectly. With my glasses, if I look out of the corners of my eyes, it goes beyond the lenses.
- Open face helmet. Here's the helmet I use. It does not get in the way of my glasses.

im suprised they let you use that helmet. its only DOT certified. dont helmets have to be snell certified for drag racing?
