Looking at autotrader, a used GT500 Shelby Mustang is looking at over $80k http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...mp;cardist=123

I mean damn.

Why pay $85K for a used one when you can probably find a brand new one for $42K + $20K dealer adjustment.

Good luck

A buddy of mine just had a local dealer offer him MRSP + $5000

It's only a matter of time and they will be selling below MSRP

If you really want one there are plenty of dealers across the country selling at MSRP. The thing is you can't go to a dealer located in one of the wealthiest parts of the country......of course they are going to charge more. Michigan's economy sucks right now and it shows because you can find GT500 (coupes)for MSRP all over here.

I'm sure the same is true of other states with depressed economies.

You shouldn't ever pay $80,000+ on a GT500. You can buy a new one of ebay in the $50's.

They will lower price in less than half year, theres a lot of dealers with 07 GT500´s and the 08´s are already in. The guys who where willing to pay 20K markup for the car are gone already with the first 07 models.
