It won't hurt the motor any worse than any other type of FI if used right. Since your car has been tuned already yes you will want to tune it again and 75 is just a starting point trust me. Looks like your in my area(maybe even seen your car at Lapeer before).

Some say a tune isnt needed with a 75 shot... I say better safe than sorry. I would deffinitely get to a reputable tuner and have him develope a tune for the nitrous. Just my 2pennies

Downrive, do you think alternative auto would beable to do a install and tone on one of these systems? Or is there someone in the area that specifically works with these kits?

I agree with ohsixgt1217, going with a 75 shot isn't worth justifing the cost. You feel a little jump, but nothing worth bragging over, other than the fact that you got it on the car. I'm at a 100 shot now, but am looking at 125, and possibly new plans in the beggining of the year. [8D]

Call Lidio. He can do anything you want to a mustang. He however is against nitrous on the s197 motor do to the how much tuning affects the car(needing 2 tunes). He was however quite impressed with the numbers I got at his dyno day and how easy it was to switch back and forth. He will be doing some work for me this winter.

no ... "NITROUS" does not hurt your engine. Retarded people that slap it on and dont know how to tune it hurt your engine.

75 shot very not worth it imho. Get a full exhaust, tune, CAI, and some suspension. Will be cheaper and close to the minimal gains from a 75 shot.
hehe.....people will never learn the difference between "NOS" and N2O.....
True, like calling a refrigerator a "Frigidaire" LOL

Run it for a while--it is awesome on a 125, and sprayed 150 twice, but the car would just instantly roast the tires, so needless to say I've dropped back down to a 125. 75 is deff. not worth it---not any real feel to it--the motor just turned up a little faster.

To anyone interested, I have a complete setup with everything you need for sale--see the link in my sig for details.
