Default Quick GT Spoiler Question

I heard that there was a styling change between 06 and 07 GT Factory Spoilers? Is this true and does anyone have info/pics to compare? I would also assume that they use the same holes?

I think they are a little different. The 06 is just flat whereas the 07 has the ridge on either end...not sure.

The stock GT spoilers on my '05 and '07 were the same.

The GT spoilers are the same IIRC, but the V6 spoiler changed in either 07 or 08. The V6 used the GT spoiler then went to the lower profile type, which actually looks better than the GT spoiler IMO.

yep! Pantera is right... You were probably mixed because the V6 one changed.

I agree with Pantera.
I never like the pedestal style, even on the 69/70. That's just me though, I like everything flush on a car.

As far as the holes, they remain in the same location because the brace in the trunk lid is designed for that spot.
If you drill anywhere else, you won't be able to get to the nuts/bolts from the back.

I called Jorge Golcher Ford in Hialeah to ask for you - they said they would get back to me but never called back. I hope you can do it because I think the GT spoiler would "balance off" your new Roush hood scoop better than the flatter spoiler - especially on your vert. JMHO.

I will let you know if Jorge Golcher Ford calls me back. Good luck.

I noticed you live in Mirimar, FL - who did your scoop install?

If anyone wants my OEM GT spoiler they can have it for $25... painted black, just replaced with GT500 spoiler.

Thanks for the quick replies and confirmations!

Rogan01 - haven't installed the scoop yet; waiting on a friend of mine to take the dive first so I can check out the quality of the installer he's using. No sense being a guinea pig! [8D]
