Or just another popular scam? There seem to be enough of them on Ebay. Not being a mechanic, the explanation of how it works seems logical, but c'mon...

THIS PERFORMANCE MOD WILL CONNECT TO THE CARS INTAKE STSTEMS IAT SENSOR. ONCE THE MOD IS INSTALLED, THE SENSOR WILL READ A DIFFERENT AIR TEMPERATURE THEN WHAT IS REALLY COMING IN. It will burn extra fuel, foul plugs, and possibly clog your cats at worst. At best you will smell exhaust all the time and your exhaust tips will be super sooty black.

On top of that, by the pic he's jumpering two leads with a 50 cent resistor - I'd be worried about doing that, and even if it did work, why pay at least $6 + shipping to have some yutz mail you something you can get at a Radio Shack?

At that price, he can afford to offer a 300% guarantee and still make money from people who order it and just don't send it back. Sounds like a big scam. I read the ebay feedback and it also smells funny. In other words, like everyone says - this is a definite NO! Don't think you need to be a "mechanic" here dude. God bless for wishing and sharing though. Is this your first car? P.S. - there is no Santa
