Max tire size would probably be a 255

255 is the most you want for DD I would think....275 for track only maybe.

The car will feel like jello, 255 is the best fit for 9 inch. Tire Rack has a chart.

Should "fit" but why? I would consider other options - IMHO. Cheers.

The stockers are not wide enough and the tire installer will be a cussin you
the whole time he is puttin them on. I dont think anyone would install them
for you as they would be liable for damage should any occure. Get some
DD rims with the proper backspacing and offset to get the 275/40/17s
to work properly and not rub like heck. The tire rack has calculators for
just such info.
