I am sure those of you who know of me are aware of the dreaded leak problem that has plagued a mojority of our s197 mustangs! I was very pleased so far with the fact that i have not had a leak since the repair that took almost 12 days! We had one heck of a down pour two days ago and today I entered a parking lot and hit the brakes pretty good when i entered the parking spot! I noticed a big puddle of water under the pass. door and the rocker was soaked with water! I opened the door and noticed more water. It never entered the cabin but i would have to guess the car is holding water somewhere! I felt the door weather strip and it felt wet too mainly at the bottom of the door! Anyone know if this is common?

 

Take it back is the carpet wet? Or do you see water inside. If not no big deal.

 

Mine had the leak on the pass floor board. It got fixed early this year. When it is wet and I open my drivers side door the water comes from ? and drops on the rocker. It doesnt come inside, so i am not concerend.
