Are they standard 2 1/16" gauges that can be mounted in an A-pillar pod?
I think that would be a better solution so you could put it back to stock when you sell the car.

Do you need both gauges, or did you mount 2 so you can read 4 things simultaneously?
you can buy them in singles... since I had none I went with 2 to have 4 displayed .... u can acutally set them to "scan" and alter the display in set intervals.

They are standard 2 1/16 but were a bit loose. Alan @ SOS suggested (and it worked perfectly) to use small strips of the soft side of Velcro on the back side of the gauges.

As far as drilling the dash.... I really never thought twice about it.

They were just released for the S197 about 4 weeks ago or so....and the install is fairly easy... if your using the SOS Pillar Pod you could do it in 15 mins or less!! and you get 2x as much info per gauge...

Are you plugging the guages into the port? Or are they like hardwired in?

How hard is it to change the readouts?

I'm VERY interested in these.

it plugs directly to the OBD port..no hard wiring necessary. if you want to use the analog inputs w/ sensors (MAP or A/F) u'd hard wire those. the readouts are very easy to adjust. two small push buttons on each gauge for adjusting thru the menu.
