Default hot headunit

hmm
while installing the ipod adapter on my car yesterday, I noticed the left side of the head unit was a little toasty, more toasty than I would like it to be.

but I'm like whatever, warranty will take care of it.

but this morning before I started the car for some reason I felt the screen , and there was some warmth, (not too much)even after sitting in the garage all night.
I think Ill ask you people about this before talking to my service manager.

so go see if your head unit is warm
and Lemmie know.

I installed the Ipod adapter in my GT with the shaker 500 and had the same exact issue. I was worried about the heat too, but apears to be normal. I installed the Peripherial Electronics PXDP2 and the additional Aux adapter in my car. Works great and I flip a switch to go from the Ipod to XM radio. I have had a few weird electrical issues pop up since the install. Once all of the gauges quit working and I couldn't raise the top back up. I took the car back apart and removed the adapter from the radio. everything worked fine after i re-connected it. Last time I just took of the positive cable from the battery and reconnected. Every thing worked fine again. Just had to reset the clock on the radio. It's a slight pain when it happens, but it's worth it to charge my Ipod and have a crystal clear audio connection for both items.
