I have an 05 Mustang and can not find an interior trunk release button or lever. I went through the manual and there no reference to it. Did Ford leave this out to save a few bucks? I had it in my 01 Vert.

 

Yep! They left it out. You have to use the key fob or the key.

And what's up with the explosive bolts that Ford uses to release the trunk??[:'(] You can hear that thing pop open from a mile away.

 

Not sure maybe they were making up for the missing interior trunk release. Not a big deal I really love driving this car. I just wish it would stop snowing.

 

What r the last five numbers of your vin ajmstang? Are ajm your initials?
