Default CAI issues..

Hello.

Im ready to order my CAI C&L from Brenspeed, im happy since they ship to Mexico with an extra charge.

I was talking with a friend and he said that one of the issues with CAIs is that if you are driving with wet floor and some water get in the CAI you can have some issues, is that true ?
Can you tell me what are the most common issues using CAIs ?

Many Thanks

If you get that much water up where the intake is you will have a lot more problems than that!
Water hasn't ever been a problem for me.

The only CAI's that I have heard of having water problems are the ones that go way down into the lower fender/bumper area. Brenspeed sells the ones that are on top of the engine bay, there are no water issues with these.

Yes i will ordering the tune too. I know that normally when you get the tune you take your car with Brenspeed and then they make whatever to the tune to see what to configure in the tune to make it better, since im ordering from Mexico they will give me like a common tune for my pony ?

Yes, he'll send you 3 tunes pre-loaded on the hand held tuner. Also have him
email you a copy of the tunes so you can save them onto your computer for
backup purposes.

Ok I will ask that, i have never used a tuner before so when i get the CAI i will have more questions. But im reading old posts to avoid duplicating posts.

I will order it on december, 3 tune preloaded means 3 levels like the first level would be 15hp then 30hp then 50hp ?

There are levels like those ?

Thanks
