raptor causing misfire
I need some help. After stalling my raptor I found that at around 2500-3000 rpms I have a major hiccup in the motor. disconect the raptor coil wire and it goes away. hooked it up as per instructions. green to coil drive wire, black ground and red to 12v swirched. the only thing I can think of is that by chance I am using the red wire for power that is the same red wire on the coil pack I am driving the light from. the bundle of wires they show to tap into for power has many red 12v wires in it. those appear to be the same red wires coming from the coil packs. I was thinking that maybe by chance the red wire I tapped into is the red wire that goes to the coil pack that I am using to tap into for the signal to the raptor, and that tapping into the drive wire and power wire on the same coil is causing that coil to act up. if anyone can help.
if anyone has detailed instructions with pictures etc. please send methe link. I have used the search function and the ones I have found are doing it at the fuse panel for power etc.

RE: raptor causing misfire
I installed my Raptor by following TacoBill's instructions (https://mustangforums.com/m_3545524/...tm.htm#3545524). I spliced the Raptor's red wire into one of the Shaker stereo's input wires (I found a wiring diagram for the Shaker on the web). This entails tearing into the center console but, following TacoBills instructions, this is very simple. It works perfectly for me. I'm guessing you must have run all three of the Raptor's wires through the firewall and into the engine bay, unfortunately I can't help you there.Good luck.
