So, whats the law and the loudmouth exhaust for the 05?

The laws are probably similar everywhere, it the "enforcers" that make the difference. Do you see louder cars being hammered on around your area ??

I dont really notice.. Im on Long Island in NY..
What kind of ticket would I get? And the loudmouth is hardly as loud as a motorcycle, so if I get a ticket, would that mean all motorcycles should get tickets also?
Has anyone gotten a ticket for that? Just a fine? AHHHHHHHHHHHHH I MUST HAVE TO HAVE THIS EXHAUST!!!

Got a verbal warning on my bike years ago. I was hot rodding it across a college campus, the school cops were unhapy about that. My last Harley was loud, but never pulled over here in Indy. I think around here, unless its really late at night and you are leaning into it, it usually not the real reason they pull you over. It might get thier attention, then you get hammer for unsafe movement, or wreckless driving, etc.

I think a noise violation is a fine, but no points on your license. That may vary from state to state though. If you go with the new pipes, let us know how it all works out !!

motorcycles are loud from the factory and cops know that. mustangs are generally decently loud too, that's why we don't get noticed as quick as the rice out there. civics and acuras are quiet from the factory, so when you throw fartcan on there, the cops know you didn't buy the car with that. here in VA, unless it's stock, it's illegal.

I know it's a little pricey, but have you considered a Borla Cat-back. I heard one on an 05 GT and it sounds absolutely awsome. The sound you hear on the web does not do any justice as compared to actually listening to them in person. That's why I went with the Borla

To get any real GOOD sounds, ya gotta take that CAT outta the way, or get a high-flow.. So im going to change that first ... and see what happens.

I'm getting the Corsa axle-back, it adds an additional 13 horsepower and 9 lb/ft torque. It also sounds pretty awesome.
