Side Exhaust
Are there any other companies that offer side exhaust kits besides Cervinis? I have searched this forum up and down but can't turn any results out.
I saw that Bash Performance has a kit, but not only could I not get any info on it from their website, I also heard to just plain stay away from them.
Any input would be fantastic.

Blow By Racing/Ronaele are the only other ones. Roush was supposed to, but they rushed their kit (if you couldn't tell by the looks of it) and said it was "impossible" to do.

Another reason being is that the side exhaust limits how much drop you can put on our stangs as there is no clearance after the exhaust. Big exhaust thread in the S197 4.6L section. Roush did not offer it as they are not big sellers on our stangs and previous years as it is a clearance issue. Most agree (not me though) that you lose HP with the side exhausts but it is minimal at best as I didn't feel the difference from stock to my Cervinis side exhaust. The sound is like no other and it is nice to hear the motor so easily......become one with your stang and hear whats going on a possibly any other thing good or bad (S/C whine- good). Cervinis has a good rear valance now (see pics)
The other stang is another full kit and you can see the rear valance nicely.[quote]ORIGINAL: Pantera72
I thought I was the only one that wasn't crazy about the Roush body kit. Now if Cervini would just get back to the drawing board on that rear valance they would be good to go to.

What's different with this valence? I had one of the first kits and the rear valence fits like poo. Did they change something? Everything else was great, but it seemed like it was too big for the bumper or something.

Could you clarify on the losing HP thing with side exhausts. I would think the shorter path would free up maybe 1 or 2 more ponies.
