Hey all,
I wanted to post this for everyone in case you haven't heard. It concerns Mustang convertibles built BEFORE 10/11/2006. There is a problem with the #1 and #4 bow wearing or pinching the top. This could result in a hole being rubbed into the top. If you have this problem, the top will have to be replaced, and instal a kit to correct the problem.Mine 07 had this problem when I picked it up. It was a small rub on the driver's side just above the rear window. The TSB number is TSB 07-19-1.

Just to clear things up. Is this where the rub through is?

Must have superseded...TSb 06-22-16 that dealt with the same issue...thanks for posting...

 

It could be rubbing in the front. The TSB isn't specific where it's at. Mine is in the back, just above the rear glass on the driver's side.

 

This one does supercede the old one.

 

How can one tell if there is a problem? Interior inspection? Exterior inspection? Just by comparing the driver side to the passenger side?

 

Checked mine this eve. Looks OK for now.
