Default engine block heaters

its getting cold here.. my old car had remote start, the mustang doesn't. i think an engine block heater is better for the car than letting it idle for 10 minutes anyway. does any one have one? any suggestions or opinions on them for our cars?

Had great service from the type that fits in the lower radiator hose.
Autozone, approx $18.
