This is another one of those threads like asking which oil is best we all have different opinions. There is no BEST!

For OTC product it is really hard to beat Meguiars. If you want to buy online then I suggest Poorboys products very easy to use with great results.

Adams has some nice products also but if you want to save money buying them then by direct from Chemicalguys, just look for the products with the same name.

I would suggest going here and read, read, read and learn about car care if you really want to do it right.

I used the Meg's brand for many many yeasr until I tried something else. I actually currnelty use differant brands of various products. Some Poorboys, Meg's and Chemical Guys.

Lots of opinions and experiences out there. As long as you correctly prep your Mustang for a quality top wax(meaning getting your car washed/clayed/polished/sealed) you won't be disappointed. Like Richard said, Meguiar's is hard to beat for OTC products, but Mother's, Turtle Wax, Zaino and others are good too. Stick to a budget, do your research and find what looks best to your eyes. I hear great things about PoorBoy's, ps21, Adam's and other hi-end waxes/polishes(only drawback is you have to buy on-line for most of these brands and they can get expensive when shipping charges are factored in).
I use a mixture of Turtle Wax's ICE polish &Meguiar's NXT line and I clay & spray wax(with Meguiar's products)every 4 washes to maintain a better than factory shine. Keeping your car consistently waxed helps keep your finish from suffering from water spots, bird droppings and road grime as it allows these things to be easily washed away. Best of luck!

It's usually a no-brainer that the "Best" will be the most expensive.
What's the best for each owner will vary, so I'd also recommend spending a while on Autogeek.com. They sell more than a few brands and offer lots of great tips throughout the site.
Be sure to read the part about how to wash the microfiber towels!

Oh, uh, yeah, I use Meguire's

The absolute best cleaning products are from Griots Garage. You can find their website at: http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?L1=L1_1000

I recommend ordering a free catalog because they pretty much offer anything and everything for your car.Just last weekend used the clay bar, hand polish, chrome wheel polish, and show wax. Their products are also found in the retails stores called "The Complete Garage." I know they put on a number of clinics where their pros come and show you how to completely detail your car. They are more geared towards exotic cars and also restored cars. Check it out.
My father and I use Griot's on our cars. The wax we use is some hidden brand and we have to special order it through a detailer. It probably has asbestos in it.

We also like the Eagle F1 nano-wax between heavy duty waxing.

You will find a lot of different opinions on this. I like Maquire products.
+1. I also use stuff from the Car Wash/Detail Shop I used to work out...can't think of the brand name off the top of my head, however, Maguire's is definitely good stuff.

Collinite Products not many people know about or use them. I have had great results from them and their Liquid Insulator wax is easy to work with. They also have a great leather and vinyl treatment
