Default MGW Shifter - Do I need shift stops?

If someone who has installed the MGW shifter could answer this question I'd appreciate it: on MGWs website, when ordering the shifter, there is an option to buy $15 shift stop kit.

Do I need this? Any pros or cons?

Thanks

DO NOT ORDER SHIFT STOP KIT. You don't need it, and are actually better off without it. OH, congratulations on choosing MGW. You'll never be sorry for buying the best.

I've got the stops on, but only because I was part of the first Beta testing group, so they were included.....You don't need em, but if you do install them, just make sure you leave a bit of clearance, otherwise you may get an annoying rattle......

Good decision on the shifter....
