Default bastard techs at Ford

Dropped off my car to have them look at some sort of gas vapour leak.

Go to pick up my car, and 2 quick tell tale signs of my car being run hard.

Cd parcel shelf under my deck is totally rearranged, the contents being dumped out and put back, and my shifter **** being twisted.

How do i know it was run hard? When you stomp on the gas, all the stuff in the cd parcel shelf will come flying out and hitting the floor. I know it , cause it happens to me every day.

Second, when you power shift from 1 to 2, or 3 to 4, the shifter **** always twists to the side so the shift pattern is no longer aligned.

I dont have any obvious concrete proof, but as soon as i saw those 2, i knew someone was rat bagging my car

Bastards.

Thats my little rant.

How much mileage did they put on it?

The **** will twist without too much force, just twist it back. Not that big of a deal.

And what is a cd parcel?

When you take your car to the stealership, make a habit to tell them that you know how many miles are on the car right now.
Also. Find out who's the guy assigned to work on it.

Alot of the time it's the a-hole porters that mess around with your car. The last time I took my car to the dealership I caught a porter coming around the side of the building sideways, it was really cold out so he didn't think I would be outside. I almost snapped and beat his *** but I just went inside and let the service manager know about it and told him I will never be in that dealership again.

If you take your car in again make sure you check the mileage and even take a pic of your odometer when you get there. If the same thing happens again raise hell.

Slightly OT, but...years ago when I had my first Stang ('82 5.0) I would occasionally drive my Mustang and leave my DD behind. I suspected my nephew of driving the DD. Both cars were kept in immaculate condition so I knew if mud was on the tire something was up. I didn't ask, I just wrote down the mileage and went to work in my Mustang the next morning. When I got home I checked the odometer and sure enough that punk drove my DD 80 miles! When I asked him about driving my car he said he moved it around to the back in the shade. He didn't know I had wrote down the mileage. I said you are a liar because if you just moved it around to the back, you would be still moving around the house to rack up 80 miles! Needless to say, he never touch my vehicles again.
So the above suggestions are correct when taking your car in to the dealer, write down the mileage.
When I take my cars in, they have a huge window into the shop that you can view their progress. I keep a watchful eye!

NO TECH or Porter should be driving anybodys car hard, unless they have do to find something wrong with it that you tell them about. IE wheel hop. If they did drive it hard, NEVER take it back there.

If I saw that I reckon I'd end up on a chain gang someplace for kicking the perp's A$$
For anybody with a tune, get the tuner toinclude a valet tune as well. A few of us have them on here, I've seen references already.

Install the valet tune before you drop it off and sit back safe in the knowledge that however hard they try they never get it over your Valet limits. In my case, 3500rpm & 40mph. Mine also knocks a TON of spark out of the motor restricting it to like 200hp

I like to leave my DVR recording thats in the trunk
and place the camera of the day on the rear parcel
shelf pointing forward with a 2.1mm wide angle lens.
I get to see lots of stuff that happens at the dealership.
Of course I let them know that they are being taped.
We have problems at work with theives and the camera
is to catch the bastards along with the under car camera
set-up for fun rides. Camera dejour. I park in the corner
and get most of the parking lot all day long.

Here is my coverage of the house.
Thats my previous vehicle out front.
Right at the end of a cul-de-sac.
