This morning , I took the car out and it took over a mile to get them round again. Is this normal?
Maybe if your name is Fred Flintstone....

Yes, for whatever reason, the stock Pirellis do this! Mine have over 20,000 miles on them and just about every day, the steering wheel shakes slightly for the first few miles as if the tires are out of balance then it goes away. The tires have nothing visually wrong and I rotate them regularly. They must have a soft rubber compound or something. I remember posts on this quite a while ago.

Assuming that's normal for your Pirelli's, the colder weather WOULD make that problem worse. Takes longer to warm them up, too, before they round out...

That is not normal for Pirellis. I drove my car for the first time in 2 weeks and the Pirellis were as round as ever. I have never had them go out of round in over a year with many 2 or 3 week rest periods for the Mustang.

to all the ppl sayin one week wouldnt do it.. WRONG..

it all depends on wehre you live.. humidity.. temperature changes.. and elevation.. with air in the tires instead of the "nitrogen" fill they sell now.. it expands and what not.. so sometimes i will leave my car over night or one day it will sit.. and for the first few mins of drivin my steering wheel wiht vibrate a little bit.. but it goes away.. its normal.. anyone dont agree.. or whatever .. idc.. i worked at Discount tire long enough to learn this.. challenge it and call a tire place.. even tho they will tell you to come if for a rebalance so they can get your money.. if it goes away, its just becuase the temperatue cahnge.. i notice it on cold mornings.
