Default Custom stripes feed back...

I usuallynever ask people's opinion on what to do with my car. I just do what I like.
But I'm curious, this time, to see if you guys relate to that scheme I'm working on.

I will supercharge this car and I made a custom stripe to go on the side like the GT/CS, but it will say 4.0/SC in a continuous roll that will end up with a side scoop. Like the original 68 did.

So guys, fire away!

I dont think it looks bad at all -- I would make it slightly smaller in size (not much) but same font ... overall it looks good... way to be different Pascal...

I agree that the "4.0" should be slightly small, then I think you should get rid of the "/SC" and spell out supercharged in a font thats about half the size of the font that "4.0" is spelled in.

I'd rather keep the fact that it's Supercharged under my Hat....

Smaller?[&:]It's a repro specs of the GT/CS. The only thing different is the inscriptions.
It cost me $60 for the continuous roll (8ft long)and the 2 fender pieces. I made a papertemplate (first pic) so the computer has something to read.

I can always change size when I'm ready to install.

And thanks Jay. Being different is my goal.

Redline, those are 71 original mirrors with custom work.

I like the idea and applaudyou going for the unique approach. As you asked though, I would suggest a more subtle approach with the coloring. Can you get vinyl closer to the colour of your paint perhaps? to make it more understated you understand?

Having tried and failing to be impressed with bold single color stripesI printed my own stripes with less contrasting colors to avoid them coming across as being too dominant......

I like the mirrors. Is that a 40th anniversary fender badge on your car?

That's great advise. I like the idea...and you will have the "go" to back up the "show".. but a little less contrast would be better.

marcuskeeler..... that is one clean car.

Thanks Marcus. Details can have a huge importance sometimes, and it's the case here. I might can the whole idea.
I forgot to state that I'm not a fan of stripes, of any kind.
This car has a Lime and black tone, I need to break the sides a little with something. Besides semi gloss black or darker green (almost ghost), I don't see anything else I can picture.

No biggy though, it's a peel off in case of[:'(].

300GT, it is a 40th anniversary badge that I turned into a 4.0 with my Registry #
