I just installed a billet grill on my stang and also ordered a pony emblem that goes onto the grill.. the emblem is 3m double sided tape, and was wondering if someone tried to steal the emblem if it would come ride off?

 

3M tape is REALLY strong. The emblems on the side of the car are held on with it. Many cars have all of the moulding, etc stuck on with it. Mustangs that have side scoops or window scoops have 3M tape holding them on.

So to answer your question, yes, if the guy has enough time and REALLY wants them, he can get them off. I doubt you'll ever have that problem though. He won't know it's just taped on, and like I said, the tape is SUPER strong.

 

Yes the emblem will come off easily if someone pulls at it, because its on the grill and has only a few attachments points. It does stick up there good, so you don't have to worry about it coming off from normal driving usage.
