+.5 I agree that he should focus on the job and getting home safely, but speaking from experience over there you definitely need something to look forward to in order to keep your morale up andhis car project is one of the healthier distractions he could choose.

Since you haven't driven the car a lot yet, go for looks. Once you're used to the power, then go for performance mods.
So do rims first.
Personally, I want to go fast first, then do body mods. What kills me is seeing a flashy car thats completely stock engine wise. Reminds me of ricers.

first off, i appreciate all the work your doing in Iraq. now down to business. do option 4 exhaust: LT's o/r midpipe and axle back,get that muscle car sound going! that's my $.02

I already have pypes mid mufflers sitting at home. Not installed yet but waiting patiently. As far as people commenting on the job at hand. This is my third deployment over here, and to be quite honest it seems like more of a home then theUS right now, so it really is hard to keep focused on the job at hand. Plus as we all know even a soldier needs a day off sometime and when those opportunities arise I turn to my car for morale, some people turn to women or booze for whatever. I just enjoy my car. Thanks for all the help people it's kinda fun to see what everybody's opinions are.
