Default Magnaflow Tru-X pipe

I was looking through Magnaflow's website today at their different exhausts for the Mustang and for my Corvette project car, and I came across this:

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...an&id=1108

Magnaflow claims it's a 50 state legal X-pipe that gives 11hp gains on the Mustang...I'm kind of curious if anyone's got this, how they like it, etc. as it may be a possibility for me to get rid of the H-pipe I've got on my car. I'm still not sure about it, though...Anyone have any good/bad/ugly on it?

The FRPP X-Pipe looks just like that one, however, the Ford one only costs $139...............

Well, the reason I'm considering the Magnaflow is because it's 50 state legal. I live in the great CARB birthplace of California, and the smog cops are worse than the SS was. Can't go with high flow cats, and the Ford X-pipe states that it's for off-road use only. Therefore, if there's no CARB E.O. number, they're going to restrict my car and force me to spend more money pulling it off and putting the stock H-pipe back on, then swapping back to the X-pipe when I'm done with smog. I don't want that hassle...

Thank god I don't have to deal with smog on my '74 Corvette; it'd never pass. No cats (granted, it came that way from the factory) and the previous owner who sold it to us took the smog pump off, not to mention the AIR pipes that went into the exhaust manifold...but I digress.
