RE: I want it louder at idle

Just so you know the prochamber will not make it any louder unless you go with the o/r prochamber. Prochamber will make you exhaust note deeper, while the h-pipe sounds lumpy, verses the x-pipe which makes it sound smoother less lumpy and more raspy.

OR pipe with flows shorty headers

if you want it truly louder at idle, try changing to a lower octane tune. trust me on this one, the timing makes it more torquey and louder at lower RPMS;).

its not as much about exhaust at that point

Where or how can I get a lower octane tune? What does it really do?I assume the rpm increases at idle?

i bet you'd love what cams sound like at idle... but not really worth it without supporting mods

Dont forget, if you make it louder at idle, it will probably be unbearable under acceleration. Which means you would be nothing more than a cop magnet. They will all hear you coming from miles away and you will probably get screwed with constantly. Just something to think about before you spend your money and end up giving more back in fines to the city you live in.

just take your mufflers off and throw them in the trash. who needs 'em??

---i am just kidding, do not do that in cali, you will probably get a noise abaitment ticket.
and plus, it would probably drone like no other without tail pipes.

Shorty headers and high flow cats

since you want to be legal and all but if it was me

LT headers and o/r h pipe to slp loudmouths.

Is it possible to run long tubes with an H-Pipe? I thought they were only compatible with the X-Pipe... but then again I could be wrong.

To the OP, I live in California (LA County) also, and i'm running an o/r h-pipe. This isnt a hassle because its a simple bolt-on. Its not like the pipes are gonna be welded together. So whenever you feel like switching back to the stock H-pipe, just said aside an hour of free time and switch it back;)That simple.

LT can come in 4 different varieties:

o/r h
o/r x
catted x
catted h
