I want it louder at idle
Anyone know how I can increase the sound of my exhaust at idle? I have MAC boom tubes and they're loud from 2,000 rpm and up but it's only a bit louder than stock at idle. Would adding a catted x-pipe make it louder? If so, which ones are good? My budget is around $300 or so.

many people use a o/r pipe in CA......just put the stockers back on and then use the o/r setup the other 364 days a year

Hmmmm...I'd rather keep my stock H-pipe if that's the case. |

you dont need mil eliminators, you can have the O2 sensors shut off with you tune.

+1 I live in Cali and run an O/R Pipe. Just take it easy by the cops because its going to be REALLY LOUD. We don't have to get our cars smogged for like 5 or 6 years if its new. Its totally worth it and the install isn't even hard. IMO if you are going to get an aftermarket mid-pipe with cats its not worth the money. Get an O/R pipe or stick with the stock H pipe.
