Default Exhaust

I really want a loud exhaust, but i dont know what to put on. What is the best exhaust to put on my car to make it sound like an older muscle car. Because i love the sound of old chevelles, bosses, and stuff like that. What exhaust system sounds closest to sound? i was looking at glass packs, but im not shure yet.

Pypes mid muffler, cheap and because it relocates the muffler to where it has always been change the tone to something we are used to.

If you have the cash, a new set of Cams in the OHV modular motor will take you back to 1970:

What are you looking to do just an axleback or a full exhaust system. Most people just doing the axleback seem to prefer the slp loudmouths or the borla stingers, but everyone is going to chime in with their own opinion. You pretty much have endless possibilities whether you decided to do axleback or the full exhaust. Argonaut is right though, a set of cams would definately give you a nice muscle car rumble.

If you want it loud, I suggest slp's and lt headers.

If you want to the old 70's muscle car sound... cams will be your best bet. Matched up with any off road x and freeflowingcatback.
