Default Attention: Engine Gurus Look!!!

I have a pretty simple question about our engine and cams, a 4.6 3v engine of course. I just want to know WHY Crane would say we need higher compression for the stage 4 cams found here: http://www.rpmoutlet.com/05gttran.htm
Could someone explain why or if its required? I know improved intake and exhaust is a must, but why would the compression need to be increased? [&:]

Cause it will run like poo with so much overlap and lift.

it has a tremendous amount more duration and lift than stock. it may sound good but without enough compression you wont reap the benfits and full potential that the cams have to offer.they do know what they are talking about
