ok im just asking because i did race one from a light one time right when i got my car and had no mods whatsoever and i jumped 3 cars on him on the green but then it took me on 3rd gear......

 

Well, it also depends on what year SRT-4. The first ones rolling off the line were 205 hp to the wheels, later ones were 230 hp.

But, an intake & GOOD tune should make it fast enough to smoke the SRT-4...Although, drag radials wouldn't hurt, either...

Then itshouldn't take any modifications, no matter what year SRT-4.

I mean you could be safe and have peace of mind with a CAI and tune, but you don't need it.

You should be able to beat a stock SRT-4 with a stock GT. The only one you won't beat is the Stage3 SRT-4 which is still considered "stock" but it has a bunch of upgrades that make it pretty damn fast. Don't mess with them from a roll though, they are beasts on the highway.

if its a stage-3 srt-4, would i be able to take it with a cai, performance tune, and exhaust mods or would i need a bag lunch for an all day a$$ whoopin?
