Does it sound better than the Shelby GT? I know the exhaust is slightly different, but is it noticeable?

Lucky man! I think the Bullitt looks very cool, I would drive one... The 2001 Bullitt was the car that got me into mustangs, and I'll always remember that car.

Looks like they did a great job of capturing the essence of the original car. Interesting that it has a real cold air intake that separates the hot engine compartment air from the cooler outside air.

That's a bit harsh. It's a good car, but the question comes as to whether or not it's worth the money. Personally, I think Ford did a great job with it, and the things I don't like I could change myself (kinda like how I modded my coupe to suit my own wants/needs). The only aesthetic change I'd make to the Bullittwould be to add the Silverhorse flushmounted side louvers - HOT!

Thats the only Mustang I was interested in trading my v6 for. I definitly know there is going to be a mark up. If I do get one then my brothers car and they new one would be twins.
