Last night people were chiming in that a pulley would be needed to keep the hp output around 450 to keep it in the acceptable range. I think that it was birdieman.

 

how about a pully tht will let me keep the extra 30hp and not blowing up my engin..hahaha..

Why are these costing soo much? Ahh it is a entire kit, with all you need, but I dont WANT their injectors, and their oil pump, etc...
So far, all we have access to are kits.. I dont like kits... Im all about doing it myself...

Thats still too much... You can make more HP via other methods cheaper..

Hey Lubie, I thought I read in one of the Vortec magazine bolt on articles, that the kit didn't come with injectors, for the $5K. I hope I am remembering it wrong. Does the break down on the kit in this post have the injectors??

There is a cool article in the MM & FF April, issue, where they get to 12.4 ET. for $2430 in parts and labor. Course, thats with the drag radials. Not going to catch me boulevardin on those.

I still say, look for the best buy. The manufacturer will give you all the customer support you need!!
