Is there any harm in running the 'stang without the plastic radiator cover in place? I'm thinking of having a design airbrushed onto it and was wondering if I can run without the cover in the meantime, or whether I should pick up an extra radiator cover from Ford to use until I get my painted one back.

 

How are you going to hold your hood bar? ... thats the only thing that I can see going wrong... you should be fine though

 

I've got hood struts.

 

I ran mine w/o it for about a month. No problems at all.

 

any gains in horsepower rubrignitz?

 

You'll need to ziptie your plastic grille, probably not necessary, but it will move around more. I've had mine off for quite some time now.

I'm sure I picked up about 1-2hp. real seat of the pants feel.
