hey guys..

just ordered some smoked clear corners from flea-bay for like 40-50 shipped.. and a hurst for 175 shipped..

pretty excited about the hurst, been wanting one since i bought the car.. but if you have any tips or suggestions or links for installs on either of these, that would be cool, or if you wanna post pics of your hurst.

and where the hell do you get the black *****?

The Hurst shifter, is pretty easy to install, once you get the stocker out. As far as where to find "Black *****" ......The way that question is worded is just begging for a reply that may send me here.....

 

Damn... You're all over the place tonight!
For the Hurst, make sure the rear axle bottoms out. In other words, don't put jackstands under the axle, but the torque box, by the rocker.
That way, the driveshaft will be at its lower spot and the shifter will have room to go through the tunnel.

One more thing... You gonna love that thing!

and lol pascal.. i really am.. for some reason im just gettin all kina ideas tongiht.. in the mood i guess..

but about the driveshaft, i remember reading were some ppl need to drop the shaft bc they didnt have a long enough extension for the ratchet, but i think i can get my hands on one long enough, but what if i just put the jasckstangs on the pinch weld on the rocker panels.. that would let the axle fall all the way down.. and ill probably have a hand wiht this too..

I'm sticking with the white on the hurst, I just read the other thread about the red and that may look good.
Either way it will be yours and unique.
