Default A/f gauge

I installed my gauge tonight, its the autometer prolite series and the only light I get is a green one at the rich side, it does not move, how do you connect to the O2 sensor, I think this is my problem?

It's sounds like you are tapped into the wrong wire. The purple wire needts to go to the o2 circuit. An easy spot to get to this is right off of the pcm.

OK I hate to seem dumb but I have to ask, what and where is the PCM?

Ok. The red and black wires wil lgo to ground. Then you can run the purple wire to pcm lower connector which is under the hood. The connector is the lowest one and the wire will be red with a black stripe. As an easy option. These pictures were wired temperary. Make sure to insulate the connection very good. Also the yellow wire in the picture is the purple wire.

I notice no one gave this guy the lecture on narrowband being so bad compared to wideband.... Does this mean narrowband is not completely useless? Im still torn on paying for a wideband vs narrowband. Can you find out enough for tuning with a narrowband?

I wouldn't tune using the narrow band. They are just good inicators if a problem should come up while at WOT. Wide band is better but a narrow will do it's job for the money.
