My baby is only slightly modded, however with the cooler months upon us, she's a bit too much for the stock rubber. One of my favorite things to do, especially whenfriendswant togo for a ride, is get it up to about 20mph in 1st (about 3000rpm) and then mat that sombitch and hammer up through the gears.

But now when it's gets around 40 or below, the *** end breaks loose. And I'm not talking about just when I'm shifting hard into 2nd or 3rd, I'm talking when I hammer itmid gear (1stAND 2nd). Is it time for some beefier meats?

Time for susp mods. lower control arms, relocation brckts, upper control arm. To start.

I have similar problems. But I really don't want to do suspension mods other than replacing the stock shocks. What I was hoping to see here was a recommendation for stickier tires... I'm running the stock 235/50/18 BFG's.

Beefier tires would help with softer rubber.
I got the feeling that they won't last long though[8D].

cooler weather is not good for traction. soft sticky tires are what you need for this time of year.
