Default turbo talk

There has been a lot of turbo talk lately. Got me thinking. I am hoping a few of you could answer these questions:

1. Which is more cost friendly?
2. Which is harder on the motor?
3. Does roush or ford make a turbo that can be put on by the dealer and still allow me to be under warranty like the roushchargers?

1. S/C in most cases.
2. Good ? Really to many variables to say.
3. Nope.

The turbo for $800, yes. The piping, manifold and everything else needed to make it work, not happening that cheap.

The turbo it's self is roughly 800 -1000 ... but you have to account for everything else... when you buy an SC you get everything it comes with to install it (thats why it's 5000)... with Turbos you get the same when it's you purchase a kit... however if it's not a kit then you're only getting the Turbo housing alone and still have sevreal other parts/ componets that you will need to purchase in order to install it

To answer number 2 in a very general way turbos can produce more HP at lower psi, so you can make your own assumptions on how that will work with a motor (more efficient). Like others have said, there are so many factors but all in all, either a SC or TC will make your motor work harder...more HP so be sure to have all the supporting mods necessary and you shouldn't have to worry about blowing the motor.
