can somebody please fill me in on what that SHAKAKUUU noise is when u switch gears with the pro charger. Im not sure if its a blow off vavle just what it reminds me of. I love the sound of it and love the sound of turbos but like the supercharger better so this is what im leaning towards . explain what it is and how it works if ya can, thank ya in advance.

 

I'm pretty sure it is a pressure release valve.

It releases built up boost from the intake when the throttle is closed(aka shifting gears). I do like the sound as well but I will probably be hearing it with a turbo hopefully

Yup. Pressure release valve. Unless I go over 3.5k rpm it doesnt make the noise.

 

does it only go off when after the boost is engaged ? Is it adjustable and is it really loud in person cause it sounds wicked on video and most stuff sounds even better in person. where are u located im about to drive there just so i can hear it[8D]

 

Its just like a blow-off valve for a turbo. When the throttle closes, you hear "intake flatulation", lol. When you shift, it farts. If you hold it in gear to get the rpms up, but without smashing the gas, it farts. Once you hit the gas, the farting stops. Sounds pretty damn cool to me too. I like mine.

 

I love the noise Sometimes purposely rev it up to 3k-3.5k and release just to hear it.

I haven't heard mine from the outside yet but I know it's loud because people jerk their heads to look.

My wife says she thinks the car is laughing when I shift.

 

Pretty much. If its a slow climb into in the RPM's then you dont hear it when you change gears. Adjustable? Dont think so. Loud? Coming down from the rev limiter it is. Right now im working at the Branch Medical Clinic on NAS Oceana. I live off Newtown road.
